Found a pink Nidoran...!?

Does it have any special ability or is just a diff color?

It's called a shiny, congrats, they are very rare, there's no difference except the color of the Pokemon.

yah they have higher stats and stuff

They don't have higher stats that was only Gold & Silver, just a differently colored nothing else, just very rare.

Yeah, thought so too.
Hopefully Fint answers this question when he log's in.

To be clear, shinies have very high talent points.
So they are the Pokemon with the most Stat potential.
Training a non shiny to the max, next to a shiny, and the shiny will end up having the best stats.

Did that clear things up?

PS: Every Pokemon you encounter can be shiny

More like days, its totally random.
Well last time I went in a shiny hunt,
well I went in a shiny hunt and found nothing....
Still cool when you see one.

1 out of aprox 8200 is shiny

im just glad i found one even though its a male nidoran
